My best friend has the biggest obsession with DBSK I've ever seen. She's seriously loved them for years, and this song reminds me so much of her I want to cry. I've never had a better friend who has understood me more and has always been there for me.

Super Girl-SJM

I miss Hangeng, that's why. He was my first kpop bias and was the reason I started listening to super junior and kpop. He looks so happy and *cough* hot *cough* in the music video, but now I wish him the best with his solo entertainment career. He deserves proper treatment and I'll be supporting him throughout his career. I can't wait till his new movie comes out (:

Day 13: A k-pop group you dislike and why

Shinee

I don't necessarily dislike them, but I've never gotten into them. Most of my friends are all like: "OH MY GOD SHINEE". But I just don't understand why.

2pm Hands Up Review

A song with a new feel from 2pm. With club beats and dancing, it reminds some people of GD and TOP's Hands up. I wasn't a fan of Kpop when that song came out and I don't listen to Big Bang, so I don't know that song too well. I thought this song resembled American music with background club beats and a repetitive line. I'm reviewing this after 2ne1 I am the Best and to be honest, I think those two songs resemble each other more. Overall I loved seeing Taecyeon and Nichkhun (hehe fan girl moment) and the song is quite catchy, but I think people will tire of it quickly. I'm excited to see who will will the music shows next week (:

2ne1 I am the Best Review

I am quite sad that YG pushed the release for this video back :( but oh well.

My opinion: This song is actually catchy. Lately I haven't really been into the club beats and club music, but this song is different. 2ne1 is amazing, honestly. They can do soft ballad songs like Lonely or club music like this song, and excel in both. I wish they would do more variety shows since we don't get to see their personalities as much! All in all, I think 2ne1 will beat 2pm and f(x) whenever they decide to go on shows. That's saying a lot coming from me, the ultimate f(x) fan.

I think I watched this first because my Korean friend was talking about SHINee and I was curious to see what kpop was like. My honest first impression: this is super weird.

Khuntoria

They are seriously, my favorite couple. It used to be Yongseo, but now it is definitely Khuntoria. There are so many times I get the feeling that they might date when WGM is over. I'm so nervous for when the leave. I wish they could stay on the show forever, since I don't feel the spark they have between any of the other current couples. I know a lot of people who only watch WGM for Khuntoria, so if anyone from the WGM staff is reading this, please let them stay for as long as possible! I look forward to every weekend just to watch them!

House of Night Series Review

I had average to mid-high expectations for this series. I had heard a lot of beauty gurus on youtube and a lot of people on elle and blair's forum rave about this series. The first book I thought "This is ok, I guess. I'll keep reading and wait for this to get better." Then I read book number two "Uh...still a little boring and the writing is pretty Juvenile". I still didn't give up and went for book three "Still waiting for the amazing moment where I become addicted...". Then book four "HOLY MOTHER F--- WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MAIN CHARACTER?". Seriously, Zoey is an annoying whiny girl who somehow has every guy fall in love with her. I give up on this series, it sucks.

I didn't actually cry, but it was very emotional for two reasons: their singing is so beautiful and it relates to me. This year has been the loneliest year of my life, and if you read my blog posts you'll know why.

They have the most beautiful voices, ever. I never knew that CL and Minzy had such powerful voices, since Park Bom is always labeled the strongest singer. I think Minzy could give her a run for her money.

Introvert

I am an introvert. I hate being with large groups of people, it drains my energy. I love being by myself at home. I remember when I was younger, I never wanted to hang out with anybody outside of school and people thought I was weird. Now, I actually know that there's a word for people like me. I'm not just shy and quiet, I'm an introvert.

I hate being an introvert. Although I enjoy my independence, whenever I go to school and see people laughing and enjoying themselves with large groups of friends, I get jealous. I get mad at myself for being in introvert, it causes my loneliness. This feeling only washes over me when I see other people, but when I'm alone without seeing others, I love it.

This song is so catchy and the dance is so cute. When it first came out, I swear it was on replay for the longest time. I want to learn the dance eventually. I think this song is a lot better than Hot Summer, but who knows, maybe it'll grow on me?

This has been going on for the longest time now. Youtube updates views in intervals, so it will often get stuck at a number. Thumbing up if you are that number of a viewer is not a clever comment by any means.

2. 301 view and 2,000 likes and 3,000 comments? Can't youtube do math?

Nobody gives a poo what number comment you are. It isn't some accomplishment to be the first viewer on a video.

4. Why does the video quality suck?

This has also been going on for the longest time. Youtube needs time to process, can you please be patient? Jeez people.

Don't know if someone likes me

Sometimes I have these phases when I don't know if someone likes me. I feel like I get too obsessive with people who I want to be friends with. I'm not as bad anymore, but now I get paranoid. Day 2: Your favorite k-pop girl group

F(x)

To be honest, I had never heard of F(x) until I accidentally clicked on their song Nu Abo. My inital reaction: "Oh my gosh. What's wrong with that girls hair? This song is really annoying." LOL. I replayed it a couple times and decided I didn't like it. Then a couple days afterwards, I found myself humming the tune and it started growing on me. My Nu Abo obsession turned into Chu, then into La Chata, then I found myself watching them with their comeback Pinocchio. By then I knew all their names, what languages they could speak, and their talents. I began to watch We Got Married where Victoria became my favorite out of the group. Afterwards I watched the gangsta boy dance practice, then that song became my favorite. Now here I am, with an account on aff(x)tion, waiting for their hot summer album (:

Places I like to Go Shopping When I'm Bored

Reading makes everything better. No matter how down you are, a good book can make you forget your worries and journey into someone else's story.

2. A Frozen Yogurt Store
I can't really name my favorite one because it's local, but frozen yogurt is a good way to get rid of any cravings or treat yourself in a healthy way.

A ton of art and craft supplies in one store. I love art, so this is a fun option for me.

Day 1: Your favorite k-pop guy group

Super Junior, hands down. They have so much personality and talent, it's almost unbearable. All of them are good looking too (: They were the very first kpop group I got into, and remain my favorite. I haven't gotten tired of any of their songs yet. Oh and some of them speak Mandarin, which only makes them better since I'm a fluent Mandarin speaker.

It started with me stumbling upon Super Junior M's Super Girl. I thought Hangeng was hot and the song was catchy. Pretty soon I watched SuJu M on happy camp and thought that they had hilarious personalities. I watched some of their other older variety shows. Then I saw Super Junior's  MV for No other and feel in love with the song...and Siwon xD. Super Junior M then made a comeback with Perfection and I learned about the whole Hangeng law suit thing. I felt so sad, but yet so happy that he would be free now. SuJu M had their long stay in Taiwan (woo taiwanese pride!) and I found myself subscribed to every taiwan super junior uploader's channel. I watched every single variety show they were on. I'm actually not as obsessed with Super Junior in general, but I love Super Junior M.

F(x) Hot Summer Release

As of the moment, I'm not a huge fan of the song, but I am anxiously waiting for the MV to come out. Is SM running out of song ideas? I mean, how many songs have they bought? (danger, run devil run, hot summer...) Nothing against using someone else's song, but it's impossible to not start comparisons.

Motivation for Weight Loss

I want to be able to talk thinspiration pictures for other people.

Rania's Debut

I was actually pretty impressed by Rania's Debut song Dr. Feel Good. It was sexy, but at least that but forth a new image. Every girl seemed to have a different look and there is an amazing singer in there (I don't know her name yet).

I heard they got a new song writer who may have written Masquerade. This song I'm not a fan of at all. I'm hoping they can get a better song because Masquerade seems so flat to me compared to Dr. Feel Good.

Overall, I'm hoping Rania will get far and I'll definitely be watching them. I love their variety of hairstyles and colors too (: Gives me a chance to find an icon. They definitely have my vote on best debut.

2. Victoria f(x)- She is so pretty! Her looks is super sweet. I love watching her on we got married every week. Her dancing and singing skills are definitely enviable.

3. Kim Kardashian- She will always be top on my list for the bombshell sexy look. Her style is always very polished, which also makes her my fashion icon.

Canon Rebel T1i Review

So this was my first "professional" camera. I just started getting in photography and I just wanted a camera that would take good quality photos and that wasn't digital. This was my christmas gift from last year, and I'm super grateful for it. This is a good camera for beginner photographers who want to learn. The photo and video quality are amazing. Favorite Kpop Groups

There are only a couple Kpop Groups that I know all the names of the members. That's when you know they're talented!

1. SNSD (Girls Generation)
This was the first group I liked. I loved there song Gee and it got me started on kpop. I love their personalities and how close they are to each other.

2. Super Junior
I really like Siwon (eyebrows, hand gestures, and he's hot haha), Henry for being so cute and a Chinese born in north America,  Hangeng (I miss him!) for his dancing and his looks, and Sungmin and Ryeowook for their cuteness.

3. F(x)
I actually can't choose a favorite girl out of this group. Amber is hot (I'm being honest lol) and good at rapping and singing, Luna is a great singer, Krystal is really pretty, Sulli is cute, and Victoria is beautiful, funny, and cute.

But I'm a little biased because Amber is a Taiwanese born American like me and Victoria can speak Mandarin and is married to Nickhun so...

4. 2ne1
 Their musical style is different from many groups, it has an edge to it. Can I just say the song lonely is on replay for me all the time? Holy poo. Their voices are just so beautiful, I can stop.

Don't Let Fear Rule Your Life

There has been a million moments in my life where I have went "What would have happened if I was not afraid to do this?". I am the biggest scaredy cat ever. I couldn't think of a more educated word to use instead of scaredy cat haha. So many times I just turned away or gave up, because I was too afraid. It could be mental like telling someone I liked them, or physical like not being able to jump in ice skating because I was afraid of falling. I regret so much. Just don't rule your life.

Summer's Coming!

This week is almost over, then only a week of half days remain! Gosh second semester sucked for so many reasons (see previous posts).

Closer to when I'm starting my weight loss! 15 pounds in 10 weeks, can I do it? I hope as long as I eat 1500 calories and lift weights and run, my body will come out of starvation mode and I'll lose weight. Anyone else trying to lose weight?

Getting too attached, Trusting to easily

This applies to friends since I have never really liked a guy a lot. Whenever I meet a girl who I really want to be friends with, I get a little too attached and only want to hang out with that person. Usually, the person wants to be friends with me too but sometimes I feel as if they think I'm annoying or too obsessive. Now that I'm talking about it, it sounds like I'm talked about a boyfriend or something, but it is just between friends. I trust people so easily too, but when they betray me it makes me cry for days.

For this reason I have been called a girl's best friend, if my friend is in need I will drop everything for them.

Nostalgia

This year I began to have the feeling that I was aging. I know it sounds ridiculous with someone at my age, but it's true. I find myself longing for the shows that I used to watch in the 90's and early 2000's. Whenever I see something that reminds me of a childhood toy or memory, I feel a pang of nostalgia inside. Pretty soon I'm going to be on my own in college. The idea scares me.

People Change

I know people always say that cheesy thing, "People change in high school". At first I thought it was a joke to scare younger kids into making the right choices with friends. This year was the first year I found it to be true.

My first friend was my best friend of 10 years. This year we began to slowly grow apart due to attending different schools and me having to focus on extracurricular and school. My other best friend in the equation recently filled me in on how she was. She dyed her hair black, and wears the "raccoon" eye makeup look now. She's hooked up with a majority of the upperclassmen at her school, even though she's a freshman. She's had sex and done different drugs. All I can be is shocked. This used to be my best friend, who would tell me everything. Now she has turned into a completely different person.

My other friend since third grade has secretly been cutting herself and was sent to a mental rehabilitation center by her family for a month after she attempted to take random pills she found in her mother's bathroom. All I can think about is how she used to be like my innocent little sister, playing dolls with me. She's recovering well, and I send prayers to her family.

Seriously

Seriously, just stop talking. I know the whole blood is thicker than water thing, but you should just stop talking. You act like you know me, but you don't.Your words only make my eating disorder harder to get over, and they started my eating disorder too. Leave me alone and I won't be bitchy back. I don't want to try and mend our relationship, we just don't get alone.

Hard Decisions

 Downside of being a Libra? We're famous for being indecisive and not making good choices.

1. Two years ago I had to choose which ice skating team I wanted to join. I ended up choosing to move to a different ice rink and onto a higher level. This decision I do not regret, at all. I had the best year of my skating career following my decision.

2. Which High School? Where I live, there are two main public high schools. Both are good schools and have different high and low points. I ended up going to the older, more famous, competitive one. Was this the right decision? I'll get into that more on #4 of my list.

3. Should I quite ice skating?
Ice skating got old really quickly. I ended up dreading ever time I would step on the ice. Some people blamed this on getting up at 3 am, but I love getting up early every morning. It makes my days seem longer. Instead of full on quitting, I ended up reducing my skating time to once a week. Do I like it? Hell no. I need to stick with something until college though.

4. Should I transfer schools now?
Now this is the present question. I'm very unhappy at the school I'm currently at.  I'm debating on whether to switch to the more artsy fun school. My best friend in the world also happens to go there, and at my current school I'm pretty much a loner. I think I'm planning on switching in junior year, depending on how sophomore year goes.

Dream Guy

People always ask me about what my dream guy looks like. I don't want to be one of those girls lying by saying looks don't matter, when they really do, but honestly for me looks don't matter. That is the truth. Sure I think dimples are adorable, but I'd must prefer an average looking guy who treats me well than a douchebag hottie.

So on that note, I'll describe what I dream of for his personality.
1. Protective- Worrying about if my clothes are too revealing, or walking on the side of the street facing the cars. Little things like that. I think I've been watching too much We Got Married haha but it's cute, what can I say?

2. Get Jealous- Sure, why not? Show that you care a little bit. It is so cute to watch someone get a little bit jealous because it shows that they actually care.

I don't only want to say what they can do for me, that's kind of selfish. What do I want to do for him?
1. I want to cook for him and make little lunch boxes. Sounds kind of cheesy, and once again, I've definitely watched too many We Got Married episodes xD

2. I will to listen to him and be there for him like a best friend.

Painfully Shy

All throughout my life I have been known to be the quietest girl. I never asked questions or spoke up in class. Some of my teachers did not even know my name in middle school or high school. I know why I am so shy, I am self conscious. I really wish I could change this and not have such a boring personality, then maybe I would have more friends and be happier.

I am afraid that when I am I will not be able to get anywhere in life because my social skills will fail me. I won't be able to do interviews without thinking that people are judging me. I'll worry too much about other people's opinions.

Book Recommendations

1. To Kill a Mocking Bird- This is a classic. No one can go a life time without reading this novel. I reread this constantly, and never tire of the beautiful literature.

2. Deadly Little Lies- Onto the more fun, teenage books! I'm really into paranormal romance books so this one really got me. Suspensful, and dark, just my style!

3. Fallen- Paranormal romance time! This one is about angels and the steps of the relationship.

4. Hush, Hush- Another paranormal romance book, see a pattern here? I think I was exposed to too many fantasy books and anime as a child xD

Favorite Nail Polishes

1. China Glazes White on White- Just an opaque white. Any brand will do, this is just the one I own. Wearing plain white on the nails is unique, and draws a lot of attention. It also gives off a chic look to the wearer, definitely my style!

2. Essie Mint Candy Apple- The perfect mint green nail polish by my all time favorite brand! Pretty in an season, particularly spring.


3. Essie Lilacism- Another pretty spring color. This one is a soft lilac purple color. Lilacism was a part of  limited edition collection, but is still sold pretty commonly.

4. OPI Manicurist of Seville- I love OPI's formula and brush size. Manicurist of Seville is the best complimenting red I've found for my skintone. This polish was featured in the Espania collection last year.

My Electronics

 No order. Beware, my asian nerdiness is about to be revealed.

1. Canon Rebel Ti- My first "professional" and non-digital camera. I've had it for almost 6 months and I'm still kind of toying with how to work it lol. It takes amazing quality pictures and videos, I definitely recommend it!

2. Macbook Laptop- I've had mine for almost 3 years now. It's so old, I have cracks running through my screen (but I actually barely notice them!), and it makes a low (kind of loud) humming noise after intense use. Still love it to death though! I'm too stubborn to get a new one.


3. iPhone 3GS- No phone beats this phone. I've never had a better one, seriously. I think I may be on the iPhone boat forever? I don't know, don't quote me on this.

4. Kindle- Are you a nerd? Than you need this. But seriously, do you know how hard it is to control yourself to now buy every book with one touch of a button? You need will power for this device. I never get headaches or glares while reading this. To be honest, when I first bought this I hated and missed the feeling of a real book. I was so against electronic books. But like most others, I grew to love it.


5. Nintendo DS- Don't judge. Nintendo DS light, DSi, DS 3-D? No way man, go with the original. I play the best with my Nintendo DS Heavy! Originals for the win!
